Community Engagement

Along with the Oceanside Kiwanis Club, we hosted an event that featured organizations specializing in mental health services, addiction and treatment services and sober programming.

We launched The Makeshift Movement with a panel of individuals who provided first-hand accounts of their experiences with suicide and substance abuse, as well as mental health professional. State Assemblymen Todd Kaminsky and Brian Curran both provided opening remarks.
